With a few week hiatus in between, here is the last of my segments reminiscing about my college years. Now that graduation was a few days ago, I’m recapping my senior year at Michigan State University, the last of four great years in East Lansing, Mich.
The first weekend back at school was still warm and I learned how to waterski on Lake Lansing!
It was also time to go back to our favorite “college dive bars” for one last year.
I painted a sweet beer pong table for our house.
The first football game of the season had some crazy skies during sunset, before a storm rolled in.
As our football team continued to ROCK the season, we became the BIG 10 Champions, followed by the Rose Bowl Champions where the Spartans beat Stanford (I even went to the New Year’s Day game in Pasadena, CA).
As Vice President of the Gamma Mu chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, I spent a weekend in Indianapolis for officer training with two nearby regions. A few weeks later, I also had the amazing opportunity to attend PRSSA National Conference, in Philadelphia.
For halloween, I was Lady Liberty, which was very fitting after my summer in the Big Apple.
In February, I took on a huge role in PRSSA, as a member of the planning committee for regional conference.
After lots of social events throughout the end of the semester, I GRADUATED FROM MSU!
..and will forever bleed green.
