Junior year I was probably most excited about moving off campus. Having spend the previous summer in East Lansing subleasing from a friend, I was ready to move into my own apartment!
The year started, again, with lots of football. I got up early (before the sun) for ESPN’s College GameDay on Homecoming, and was front row!
That of course led to me falling asleep in the afternoon – only while waiting for the game to start though, not during.
Being on the Board of Directors for the Student Alumni Foundation, I spent lots of time at basketball (Izzone Campout) and Hockey (such at the MSU game in Detroit).
Also in the fall, I got a little in the frat, our Hotshots family was growing!
Home at Thanksgiving, we were getting goofy with family pictures while waiting for Dad.
December was followed with many ‘Ugly Sweater’ parties and heading to Fox Theater for the Trey Songz concert.
I also donated 11 inches of hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths!
I got to hold a BIG 10 Championship Trophy (who let me do that!?)
With AKPsi, I became the Vice President External of my chapter, went to PBLI in Chicago, hosted a networking event that Dad came to, and volunteered painting an elementary school.
We hosted a successful CASE ASAP District 5 Conference for 14 universities with SAF.
And ended the year with a successful AKPsi Charity Golf Outing and Spring Frenzi, a joint on-campus celebration hosted by SAF and the Residence Halls Association.
